White Boy Tacos with Ben McMillan
Ben McMillan has always been in the restaurant business. He came to Los Angeles via Cleveland. One thing about Los Angeles that really shocked him was the homeless population and the culture surrounding it. He decided to do something about it. So one day, Ben bought a taco cart and started making tacos. He'd give them out to the homeless but he felt that he could be doing more. So Ben started an initiative where if a customer buys 3 tacos, he gives that customer a raffle ticket. The customer can then give that ticket to a homeless person who in turn can redeem that ticket at Ben's taco cart for a free taco. Next time you're in downtown Los Angeles near 7th and Spring street, be sure to stop by White Boy Tacos and help feed the homeless! Directed, shot and cut by J. A. Kintsugi is a practice in patience. After learning of this ancient practice, I became infatuated and wanted to learn more about it. More than just a mending practice, the philosophy behind Kintsugi is a bit more complicated than first appearing. So, I decided to dive in head first and teach myself Kintsugi. My first attempt was on my favorite mug. Enjoy! **WARNING :Explicit Language**
